WhatsApp is Not responding – Fix the problems

If your WhatsApp is not responding, then the first thing you need to do is fix the problem. You need to consider that if the problem is occurring from your side or Whatsapp application. Once, you should go to that page, which shows a report about the condition of WhatsApp, whether it is down or not.

These are some example of that kind of pages –

  • Outage Report,
  • Is it down Right now?
  • Downdetector.

If any pages show that WhatsApp is down for your country, you’ll have to wait for a solution.

Make sure about the internet connection:

Whether your device is connected to the internet, you need to do a preliminary check to use WhatsApp. If your WhatsApp account suffers for this, you can easily overcome it on your behalf. Either connect to Wi-Fi or turn off Wi-Fi and then turn on the mobile data connection to connect to WhatsApp seamlessly. So in a word, solve this problem by turning on your mobile data.

Turn on Force stop or clean the cache memory:

Sometimes, your WhatsApp may hamper due to the large cache memory. So you can make it work, by cleaning the cache memory of your device. Or you may follow another thing, to make WhatsApp working, that is force stop. Force stop helps to remove the Linux procedure and helps in deleting the cache of the corresponding application.

You will get this option from settings, and then go to the Apps, you will find WhatsApp in it. Then select WhatsApp and activate the force stop. Here, you will also get the clear cache option, click on it to remove the cache.

Updating WhatsApp or reinstallation:

This section suffers from the bug problem. To reduce this bug problem, you need to update the current version of WhatsApp. You can update your application from the Play Store, then go to my apps and games option. Update your WhatsApp by clicking on the update button. But before doing this, check whether the updated version is available for this application or not.

In case, if the update version is an average and taking reinstall it from the Play Store.

Remove the saved data of the Wi-Fi network:

Sometimes your WhatsApp account may suffer from the Wi-Fi. For an iPhone user, it may happen that after making the first connection in Wi-Fi with the device the iPhone stores the data that users required for making connections to the particular network. But it is unable to connect the system if any data is changed, so it acts like it is making the connection for the first time.

To solve this purpose, iPhone users should go to the Wi-Fi section of settings. Then they should click on the information icon, the user will find the option network just click on this to make a connection again, and then your problem will be solved.
